Experienced Breeders

We are from Washington and breed West Highland White Terriers. We raise only one litter at a time and pride ourselves in being a family focused and small time breeder operation. We believe that our world is a better place with Westies and fantastic Westie Human Parents. We take our four paw kids everywhere we can and expect same with parents of pups we raised. We have best vet, best dam and sire. We raise with love.

Happy, Healthy Bloodline

As a family pet, Westies are affectionate, playful, endlessly entertaining and a wonderful portable travel companion. Bred to hunt rats, they will take off after prey, so they need a fenced area to play and walks on a leash. Westie puppies need patient training, due to their independent nature.

How much are puppies?

$3000 - $3500 with full rights.

Deposit?

$500 refundable deposit via Zelle or PayPal.

How are puppies chosen?

By order of receiving deposit. At four weeks, people choose puppy via Zoom meeting. Additional deposit of $1500 due at this time. Balance due when puppies are placed with new homes.

How do you communicate with buyers until placement?

Via email, phone, in person and Zoom meetings. If we are in San Felipe, Mexico, we provide free lodging at oceanfront rental property. Four hours from San Diego or Palm Springs.

Vet check?

Puppies are de-wormed and have physical examination and first shots at six weeks.

Guarantee? Refund policy?

Buyers must have puppies examined by their vet within 7 days of placement. If any issues with puppy then full refund is provided. If sex of puppy is not what buyers want, then initial deposit is fully refundable.

References?

References are excellent and provided upon request.

History of Dam and Sire?

Extensive testing and regular exams by Vet. Both extremely healthy. No health issues with previous litters (11 pups)

We we can provide history on genealogy via AKC registration to ensure no interbreeding and quality of their history. Sire has champion lines. Both are AKC registered and all puppies are fully AKC. What is required to be accepted as buyer?

Interview by phone. Highly prefer people on West Coast and previous Westie owners or excellent knowledge and experience with Westies.

What makes you a best breeder?

We are knowledgeable, trained in best practices and experienced (2009), raise them to be extremely comfortable with humans, provide excellent care for Dam and puppies. We keep in touch with buyers, encourage reunions and treat our dogs like children. We have excellent reputation and great customer service.

How are puppies delivered to their new home?

Either buyer picks puppy at breeders location Sedro Woolley Washington, or buyer makes arrangements for travel of puppy. We prefer not to fly puppy via cargo but rather to have buyer take puppy in passenger section. We have sometimes actually delivered puppies by driving or flying with them but don't promise this for future litters. We work with buyers to achieve most safe, fair and effective transit.

How old are puppies when placed?

Our goal and history is to follow best practices established which is between 8-9 weeks.

When are puppies weaned?

At 4 weeks, we start to wean puppies to gruel (a mixture of goat milk and kibble) and at 6 weeks, they go to high quality kibble.

How are payment transactions done?

Via Zelle, PayPal and/or cash.

What happens if buyer can’t take care of dog due to personal issues or there are issues with dog?

We have been extremely fortunate in not having this type of situation arise. We love our puppies and are fair and have integrity and compassion. We want open and honest communication and will work with buyer on a case by case basis. We want to ensure each puppy has a healthy and happy long life.
